Hi! My name is Ellie Andrews and I am a social scientist and freelance editor. I earned my PhD at Cornell University in Development Sociology (2020) and a master's in Geography at Penn State (2012).
Editing services: I specialize in editing scholarly writing, particularly in the social sciences, for both native and non-native English speakers. I regularly edit articles for an online publication of the AAAS. For more information, head over to the "Editing services" tab.
Scholarship and teaching: My research and teaching are focused on the social and political dimensions of sustainability, in a variety of contexts.
I teach on a variety of environmental topics and on inequality, often with a focus on student writing:

I have taught through Cornell University's Knight Writing Institute and Prison Education Program, as well as Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Colorado State University, and the Colorado School of Mines.
